Principal Veterinarian

Bianca Betros

Dr Bianca Betros BVSc (Hons I) Dip Prof Prac Mgt

Bianca graduated from The University of Queensland in 1999. She grew up on a farm in Tenterfield, in northern NSW where she was constantly surrounded by goats, sheep, horses, cattle, cats, dogs, rabbits and various wildlife from a very early age…it was here that her dream of becoming a vet was established.

Since graduation, Bianca worked in Sydney for 2 years, then travelled to Witham, Essex in
England where she spent a further two years in a very busy small animal practice, and of
course travelling when possible.  Upon her return to Sydney, Bianca worked in a number of
small animal practices in Sydney. For the past 9 years she has enjoyed been part-owner of
Bundanoon Veterinary Hospital in the Southern Highlands.


Bianca understands completely the value of the human-animal bond, the value that our pets
add to our lives and the part they play as members of our family. Bianca has special
interests in preventative healthcare, soft tissue surgery and dentistry and generally enjoys
forming relationships with our clients so she can assist them in helping their animals to live
long, healthy lives.

Bianca's family includes two children, a 3 year old miniature Schnauzer named Winston who
you are likely to see helping out at Darling Street Vets, and a nine year old rescue cat named
Peppa who is not quite as sociable but does love a good cuddle!

Veterinarian

Amy Zahn

Dr Amy Zahn BSc. DVM GCertSAECC

Amy brings both experience and compassion to our veterinary team. Born in New Jersey and raised in both the USA and Vienna, Austria. Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Rutgers University in 1984 before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1989.

Dr. Amy's career has taken her all across the world! With a strong focus on emergency medicine, she recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care through the University of Melbourne.

After gaining experience in diverse clinical settings, she eventually made Sydney her home. Amy is passionate about providing the highest standard of patient care, ensuring that your pets receive compassionate and expert attention.

Practice manager and Veterinary Nurse

Georgia Kozlova

Georgia Kozlova BSc, BAS (AVBS) (Hons)

After completing her bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at the University of Sydney with Honours, Georgia has been working as a Practice Manager and Veterinary Nurse since 2020.

Georgia has a particular interest in both the business aspect of the veterinary industry as
well as delving into both the surgical and medical veterinary nursing fields. She is passionate
about developing strong and long-lasting relationships with our furry patients and their
parents!
Outside of work Georgia enjoys keeping fit through hiking and pilates and she has a 5-year-
old ragdoll cat named Latte, who, when not curled up next to her, is usually trying to bribe
the closest person for treats.

Senior Veterinary Nurse

Ashling Carey

Ashling Carey BSc VN

Ashling graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing in 2018 in Ireland and has been working primarily working in small animal practice ever since. She moved to Australia just over a year ago where she spent some time working with horses and has now come back to small animal practice.

Ash loves all aspects of nursing and finds building strong client and patient relationships one
of the most rewarding aspects of the job! She has also completed a Certificate in the
Veterinary Nursing of Zoo Species, and back in Ireland trained in therapeutic laser therapy
which has sparked her interest in alternative therapies, physiotherapy and
rehabilitation.
Ash has a soft spot in her heart for Jack Russell Terriers and Chihuahuas as she has a 6
year old Jack Russell X Chihuahua rescue named Tilly back home in Ireland who she
misses very much. Outside of work Ash likes to spend her time swimming, running and
exploring all the beautiful coastal walks Sydney has to offer!

Veterinary Technician/Nurse

Hsuan-Jou Ronia Tsai

Hsuan-Jou Ronia Tsai - Ronia, BVetTech

Ronia completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at University of Queensland in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney. With a passion for animal care and health, Ronia has gained valuable experience working in small
animal clinics in Brisbane.

Originally from Taiwan, Ronia has always had a deep connection to animals because of her
veterinary medicine family background, which influenced her journey into veterinary
medicine. Her compassion for animals is reflected in her personalised approach with both
clients and patients, ensuring every pet receives the highest level of patient care. 
Ronia loves spending time with animals. She has a 7 year old rescue toy poodle and enjoys
visiting animal shelters to help animals when she can. Outside of work, Ronia likes to spend
her time swimming and coastal walking.

Animal Attendant

Amelia Betros

Amelia is caring and compassionate towards all animals. She has been surrounded by pets
her whole life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, pet birds, chickens, horses, and fish. In her spare time Amelia enjoys the gym, boxing, running, watching and playing football,
going to the beach and reading.
